​1. Sign up on the new user portal here: https://portal.modernenigmasociety.org/user/new

2. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom and click the button

 

3. Visit the email address you signed up with. Look for the email from "MES Member Portal Support" and click the verification link

 

4. You can now pick a password to sign in with. Type it in twice and click "Verify Account"

 

5. Log in with your email and new password

 

6. You will now have the option to either "Begin a Trial Membership" or "Claim an existing membership." Click on Begin Trial

 

7. Read the agreement, click the checkbox, and then click "Start Trial Membership"

 

8. The next page contains your new membership number. Copy it into your favorite note-taking app as your MES Membership#

11. If, after six months, you find that you are enjoying yourself, an annual membership can be renewed for $25
